We are on our way to St. Andrews State Park in Panama City, FL, for four months: from 6/1 until 10/1.
On the way we are making a couple of stops. First at Florence Marina State Park in Georgia on the large Walter F. George Reservior. The campground here is small with only 46 sites but it is very well maintained with many large oaks and pines. This is already May.....and we have been super busy!
Tallie is still with us and doing great. She fit in perfectly with our family. She took over almost immediately but Buddy still (thinks he) rules the roost....LOL!
In March we went to St. Andrews State Park, Panama City, FL, to meet up with our friends Barb and Ron from Navarre, FL.

She found us at our current location, Little Tallapoosa Park. She followed Sam & Buddy home from their walk about 4 1/2 weeks ago. It was cold and rainy and she was soooo cute. We tried to find her owner but no luck. But she is so cut and has stolen Susan and Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18091211778820484037noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168951620514697591.post-56935057799960686532013-02-16T16:34:00.000-05:002013-02-16T19:49:21.536-05:00Finally some sunshine, but brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..........

This winter is going by fast and that's a good thing. Cold weather is not much fun, especially when it rains.
We spend most weekends with the grand kids.......usually at the camper but sometimes at their house. They love coming here and just playing in the woods! There are a lot of asphalt paved trails in this park (Little Tallapoosa Park, Carrollton, Ga.) and Susan and Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18091211778820484037noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168951620514697591.post-36246043385457401752013-01-24T21:54:00.000-05:002013-01-24T21:54:09.712-05:00Catching Up on November, December & January

On Wednesday we took the two grand kids home and spent the night at their house. We left Thursday morning with plans to stop in Cartersville, GA, to check out some historical society information. As it turns out, we spent so long finding a cemetery in Stilesboro and then spending time at the historical society office and museum in Euharlee, we never made it to Cartersville. Our site #32. One of the nicer sites in the long-term area.
The park is located just off I-75 at Exit 1-B, between East Ridge, TN, and Chickamauga, GA.
We moved to this site back in May when it was vacated by some other campers who were working in the Chattanooga area. It looks like someone may have lived on this site for several years. I am back in Chickamauga with Sam, at the camper, after spending several weeks with my Mother and then a week with my friend, Judy.
Sad news.....my friend Judy passed away last Friday, after being diagnosed with a fast spreading cancer in November. She had surgery on February 1st, but seemed to go downhill quickly afterwards. I went with her to a doctor visit on Friday 5/19, she Susan and Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18091211778820484037noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168951620514697591.post-70220430627536807932012-05-14T18:07:00.001-04:002012-05-15T11:37:34.141-04:00

I guess we are the last people on the face of the earth to get a DVR but I sure do love it. It seems everything I watch on TV comes on at the same time or at the wrong time for me to watch. This wonderful little DVR gadget has changed all that.
Now, if I want to, I can watch Hawaii 5-O in the afternoon instead of 10 pm at night (the same time as Cassill). I can Susan and Samhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18091211778820484037noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-168951620514697591.post-2488745468597688482012-03-09T16:13:00.000-05:002012-03-09T16:13:25.537-05:00
