PhotoHunt and Project 365 Day 42

The Photo Hunt theme for this Saturday is WIDE.

The seven lane Interstate (I-75/I-85) going through Atlanta seems very WIDE, unless you’re towing a travel trailer or driving a motor home in which case the lanes seem very narrow!

And it seems no matter how wide they make the highway, they're always congested!

I've travelled it multiple times, without a camper, and that surely is a wide stretch of highway!

Oh, 7 lanes, I thought it was 5, couldn't remember,.... but I do remember the horrible traffic jams. Great post. Have a Merry Christmas.

Wide roads with narrow lanes like that give me the heebie jeebies. I'd rather be on a twisty mountain lane.

YOW, looking at that gives me the heebie-jeebies. And there's construction going on, too! :S

I did Photo Hunters today, too. I hope you can visit, and leave your link.

I only like that road when we are in the truck and can use the HOV lanes. I used to work down there at BellSouth Center. Sheesh!

Mom says she doesn't like the traffic in Atlanta. We've been to cat shows there and the traffic isn't fun at all.

Last time I was in Atlanta was 20-odd years ago when I got out of the army and was on my way home form Texas. Those lanes get pretty narrow when you're driving a 14' U-Haul truck without power steering and towing a car behind it too!

Someday perhaps I'll be able to break out and take to the road as you've done. I can think of far worse ways to spend my declining years!

That is definitely one wide road - and crowded too. Yikes!

Thanks for visiting me.

I bet they don't seem very wide with a motorhome!

Thanks for visiting my Hunt!

Merry Christmas!
