Who's been here?

My wish is that everyone who clicks on my blog would leave a comment. I know this is impossible but I'd really like to know who is reading and what you think. And it's a good way to keep in touch with everyone.

In over two years, there has been over 7500 'visitors' to my blog but I only know a few of you. Bloggers really love to get comments.......good, bad, or indifferent. I always try to leave a little note when I read blogs to let them know I was there and enjoyed (or not) their thoughts, opinions, etc. Speak up and let me know! Thanks in advance. :-)

That said, here are 4 wallpaper borders I'm considering for the camper to replace the ugly factory installed grape (?) motif. Keep in mind I am looking for the old-world, slightly worn, 50's-60's Florida look. The curtain, valances, cornice boards, furniture, etc., will eventually be changed with matching colors, prints, etc. The basic wall color will remain the same.

Here are a couple of pics of the original wallpaper border and the cornice covering and swag curtain. Very dull and boring. This border is 5 and 7/8" wide.

The first two borders are 8" wide and the second two are 6" wide. Either size will work.

I've already decided on which one I like but would love to hear your opinions.

Hi Susan!! Glad you stopped by our blog and introduced yourself! We have only been full-timing for a year this month. :-)
Looking forward to reading your blog and getting caught up with your travels and "stuff." I already see we have Georgia in common!! Actually, we lived in Carrollton for 5 years so we are familiar with John Tanner State Park. Small world!
Can't wait to see what all you do in decorating your rig. I have already thrown out our sofa....just too hard to sit on and was getting old. I have threatened to paint but haven't developed the courage yet.
I know this won't help but I like all the wallpaper samples. I was actually a product of Florida in the 50s and 60s so this should be easy for me. I guess my vote would be with #1 because it has that old world wood look on the edges and nice crisp colors and the second choice would be #2 because it also has an old world look to it and lots of colors that you could use in decorating. I seriously like them all though! :-)

Take care!

Hi Susan,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I can't believe how long it is in between my posts. I like #1 and 2 if you are going for the Old World Florida look.

It has been an unusual summer in Chicago land....either really hot or rainy. Very few beautiful days in the 80'sand even my tomato plants look soggy.

BTW - I love the shampoo dispensers!

Hi Joyce,
Nice to hear from you. I like #2 also.
It's hot here, too. I thing it must the same all over.
Stay cool,
s.

Mike & Gerri, I just now saw your post and approved it. Not sure what happened there. Anyway, thanks for posting. I like #2 border because of the various colors, too.
And we really love Carrollton. It's a nice area. John Tanner SP has been sold to Carroll County and they will be taking over soon. We hope it stays as nice as it currently is.
til later, Susan & Sam.

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog today with the great suggestions concerning working for the National Parks. We were not aware of that opportunity.

I like #1 best and #2 second place...either one would be great!

Hi Susan, just found your blog - I'm sure you're already working on your wallpaper, but I had to put my two cents in. I like #1 best, and #4 second. Looks like you've chosen #2, but all are nice! Please post photos as you redecorate - I love to see the changes people make.

It'll probably be a couple of weeks but I will definitely add photos!
